Dr. Cole trained at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Tennessee's Erlanger Hospital, and finished fellowship training in surgery of the hand and upper extremity at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. That fellowship focused specifically on the hand, wrist, and elbow, which is the subspecialty he practices today.
